A healthcare organization in State College, PA is seeking a Medical Surgical Scheduling Specialist to coordinate scheduling for surgical and medical procedures. Responsibilities include obtaining pre-authorizations, writing and communicating surgery orders, and ensuring patient information is gathered before visits. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, experience in office procedures, and knowledge of medical terminology and coding. This position requires a High School diploma and an Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience.
