The OpportunityWe’re looking for a Senior Member Advocate to join our Benner Pike branch team. This is a relationship‑driven role within our retail branch environment. The SMA serves as a trusted resource for members by assessing financial needs, opening and servicing deposit accounts, resolving concerns, and identifying opportunities to strengthen member relationships. You’ll play a key role in supporting branch productivity goals, participating in outreach and sales development efforts, and ensuring every member interaction reflects our service standards.
This position also supports specialized deposit services, including IRA processing when needed, while maintaining compliance with credit union policies and regulatory requirements.
- Build strong member relationships by listening carefully and identifying appropriate financial solutions
- Open and service deposit accounts, including checking, savings, certificates, and related products
- Process member transactions accurately and efficiently
- Educate members on digital banking, remote services, and self‑service tools
- Resolve routine and complex member concerns using sound judgment and available resources
- Identify opportunities to cross‑sell credit union products and services in a consultative, needs‑based manner
- Participate in branch outreach efforts, promotions, and sales development activities
- Support branch cash management and operational needs
Maintain accurate records and ensure all documentation meets compliance standards - Stay current on deposit regulations and internal policies
- Provide support for specialized deposit services, including IRA processing, as needed
- 3–5 years of similar or related financial services experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong knowledge of deposit regulations (Reg E, Reg CC, Reg D, Truth in Savings)
- Experience with IRA processing preferred
- Strong communication skills and professionalism
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
