• CAD & BIM Drafting:
  Create, edit, and manipulate 2D and 3D CAD files for construction layout, site preparation, and coordination.
• Surface Model Preparation:
  Develop and refine surface models for GPS‑guided equipment.
• Data Conversion & Integration:
  Convert design files (DWG, DXF, LandXML, PDF, RVT, etc.) for field equipment compatibility.
• Field Support:
  Work with field crews to troubleshoot and optimize digital layouts using robotic total stations and GPS systems.
• Quality Control:
  Validate model accuracy against contract drawings, survey data, and project specifications.
• Coordination:
  Integrate BIM/CAD models with construction schedules, clash detection, and site logistics.
• Technology Optimization:
  Stay updated on new BIM/CAD technologies to enhance workflow and accuracy.

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, or similar CAD/BIM software.
• Experience with construction layout technology (Topcon, Trimble, or Leica).
• Familiarity with coordinate systems and digital terrain models.
• Ability to troubleshoot and support field personnel with digital layouts.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• Interest in growing with BIM and construction technology.
