What you’ll be challenged to do: During your internship, you will work on a highly functioning team and aid in providing design services for a wide variety of projects. You ll receive guidance, supervision and mentorship from experienced engineers and professionals with your success as the goal. The majority of our interns convert to full-time employees.
Responsibilities- Conduct research on client requirements and architectural standards.
- Assist in developing projects from initial survey to construction phases.
- Contribute to design concepts and presentations.
- Coordinate with engineering disciplines on technical details.
- Review shop drawings and monitor construction progress.
What you ll bring to our firm:
- Pursuing a Bachelor s degree in Architecture.
- Proficiency in software such as Revit Architecture, AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Basic knowledge of 3D modeling and rendering software like Enscape or Lumion.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail in design tasks.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients on various projects.
- Familiarity with International Building Codes, NFPA, ADA, LEED, and related standards.
- Exposure to building types such as transportation, education, commercial, industrial, and government projects.
The salary range for this role is $21.00 - $28.00 per hour
. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
