Finance Manager

Harper May is currently in partnership with a renowned FMCG company situated in Central London. This company boasts a global presence and a robust distribution network, enabling the delivery of exceptional products to markets around the world. Our client is presently in search of a skilled Finance Manager to become part of their continuously expanding team. This position is particularly thrilling as it provides the chosen candidate with a comprehensive and dynamic role within a rapidly developing organisation.

The role:

Responsible for the monthly consolidated management accounts (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow and Key metrics) and information packs reporting to the Financial Controller. Continuous improvement of the Group's monthly financial reporting process and controls including intercompany. Regular review and substantiation of the Group balance sheet and key controls. Provide technical accounting expertise and maintain the Group's accounting and financial policies. Assist with the consolidation and preparation of annual statutory financial statements for Group entities.

Assist with the planning and execution of the Groups year end audit to ensure it is delivered on time and to budget. Ensure the Group financial control environment is robust and all financial reporting requirements across the company are met to a high standard. Identify opportunities to strengthen the financial control environment and manage the resulting implementation. Other Group Finance Manager activities as required to support the Group Financial Controller.

Requirements Strong management reporting experience Proven relevant accounting experience and technical knowledge (Financial / Management information) Strong attention to detail and a controls-focus Team player committed to ensuring that the overall team objectives are met ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified would be preferential
