Financial Controller

We are working with a successful business that is looking to appoint a Financial Controller. This is a senior, hands-on position offering ownership of day-to-day finance operations and the opportunity to influence business decisions. It is an ideal role for a technically strong candidate making their first move from practice into industry. In this role, you will lead a small but capable finance team and take responsibility for ensuring accurate management reporting, financial control, and operational processes.

You will work closely with senior leaders to provide insight and support decision-making, while also driving improvements within the finance function. The position offers a broad scope and real visibility across the business, providing a platform to develop commercial and operational experience beyond purely technical work. This is not a back-office role. You will be front and centre, partnering with leadership, providing financial insight, and helping shape the future of the finance department.

What is required? You will be a fully qualified ACA or ACCA accountant. You will have experience leading medium to large audits, ideally for businesses with significant turnover. You will have a strong technical grounding, with confidence in taking ownership and driving processes. You will be proactive, commercially aware, and capable of building relationships across the business. What will you receive?
