Assistant Treasurer – Listed Manufacturing Company (£100,000–£110,000  Bonus & Benefits) We are partnered with a listed manufacturing organisation seeking an experienced Assistant Treasurer to join its Group Treasury function. This is a senior, high-impact role within a capital-intensive, international business, offering significant exposure across liquidity, funding, and financial risk management, with a clear succession path toward Treasurer-level responsibility. The Opportunity Reporting directly to the Group Treasurer, the Assistant Treasurer will play a critical role in shaping treasury strategy and ensuring the effective management of cash, funding, and risk across the group’s global operations.

The role combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution and is highly visible to senior finance leadership.

Key Responsibilities Lead group-wide liquidity management, cash pooling, and cash flow forecasting Support and execute funding strategies, refinancing activities, and covenant management Oversee FX and interest rate risk management, including hedging strategy and execution Manage and develop relationships with global banking partners and financial institutions Ensure robust treasury controls, governance, and policy compliance Drive treasury systems optimisation and process improvement initiatives Support, mentor, and develop treasury team members About You Significant treasury experience within a large, listed or multinational organisation Strong technical expertise across liquidity, funding, and financial risk management Background in manufacturing, industrial, or asset-heavy sectors highly advantageous Confident, credible communicator at senior and executive level ACT qualification (or equivalent) strongly preferred What’s on Offer £100,000–£110,000 base salary, plus bonus and comprehensive benefits Hybrid working and flexible arrangements High-profile role with clear progression to Group Treasurer level Opportunity to influence treasury strategy within a listed manufacturing business This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior treasury professional to step into a pivotal Assistant Treasurer role with genuine strategic influence and long-term career progression.
