Financial Controller - Part Time

Financial Controller | Liverpool | £70,000 - £85,000 FTE An opportunity to join a high growth business with significant investment already in place, and an excellent reputation. Already receiving awards for their service & products, the business needs to add an experienced Financial Controller to their head office team in Liverpool. Reporting into the MD, you will oversee the day to day running of the finance team with an emphasis on improving financial controls to prepare for growth whilst adding strong commercial understanding across internal stakeholders.

Other main duties will consist of;
Oversee & develop the month end reporting Implement stringent financial controls Develop a more commercially focussed board pack, designed to add strategic value to aid with decision making Train/upskill the existing team in line with increased demands Act as a business partner to senior stakeholders Introduce financial models to work closely with the commercial & sales teams Develop existing cash flow forecasts to become more detailed, including weekly reviews with commentary Increase commercial awareness along with the MD, allowing clearer understanding of what value finance can offer Take ownership of all tax & statutory submissions until this can be delegated appropriately Candidate profile;
Qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) – essential

Experience with in technical accounting and commercial reporting preferred Prior staff management experience Any prior systems implementation experience is advantageous Ability to adapt to a changeable environment Benefits;
