Head of Finance

Are you an experienced qualified Head of Finance ? Do you have experience working within the property and/or hospitality sector? Do you possess the management skills and gravitas to support the business with strong financial leadership that will enable and support key business decisions? This growing West London based property development and investment company are looking to recruit an experienced Head of Finance , to manage their financial performance and liabilities that will aid business decision making and the planned growth of the business.

Working closely with the management team whilst leading and motivating the finance team to deliver a first-class financial service. As the Head of Finance, your daily duties will include:
Reporting to Board of Directors responsible for managing the group’s overall finance function for both Onshore and Offshore companies. Responsible for the full financial structure of the group of companies; ensuring that robust processes and procedures are in place for the continued growth of the business. Prepare annual statutory financial statements including balance sheet reconciliations for Auditors, monthly management accounts and annual budgets and medium-term plans in line with the company targets.

Variance Analysis and provide insightful commentaries on performance to date. Preparation of cash flow forecasts and medium, long-term projections. Developing covenant testing schedules and certificates on a quarterly basis, reporting to various banks. Managing, submitting, and setting up monthly/quarterly VAT returns, CIS and ONS returns. Manage, motivate and lead the current finance team of four, ensuring they are performing and delivering their tasks within the required timetable.

The successful candidate will be an experienced qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) accountant, with significant ‘hands-on’ post qualified experience. You must possess excellent financial control, reporting and analytical skills to support the senior management team as they look to implement their continued growth plans of the business. It is imperative that you have strong interpersonal and communication with the ability to support and communicate with senior budget holders and external stakeholders.

It is essential that you have excellent systems skills including varied finance systems including Sage, Xero, Quick Books whilst being a excellent experienced using Excel.
