Finance Manager

Finance Manager – Technology (Remote) A fast-scaling technology business is seeking a Finance Manager to support its financial operations during a period of international expansion. This role will take ownership of accounting, compliance, and corporate governance across multiple entities. It offers a hands-on opportunity to work closely with senior leadership and external advisors while building scalable, audit-ready processes in a high-growth environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver accurate month-end close, including reconciliations and management accounts Lead financial reporting and ensure compliance with local accounting and tax requirements Oversee VAT submissions and support corporate tax filings across European entities Review payroll data and ensure accurate multi-country payroll accounting Liaise with external advisors (tax, audit, legal) to manage financial obligations Own finance-related internal controls and contribute to risk management documentation Manage board and shareholder documentation, including corporate filings and meeting prep Identify and implement process improvements across systems and workflows Candidate Profile:
Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent);
Big 4 or top-tier training strongly preferred Strong grounding in accounting and financial reporting under GAAP/IFRS Experience in international finance operations, ideally across multiple jurisdictions Fluent in German (written and spoken); confident working in English Familiarity with cloud-based accounting tools (e.g. Xero) and strong Excel skills Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working with remote teams across time zones
