Accounts Trainee​/AAT Qualified

We’re working with a well-established accountancy practice in Eastbourne that is seeking a Trainee Accountant/AAT Qualified individual to join their Audit Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in audit and accountancy, with full training and support provided.

Key Responsibilities Assist with audits and preparation of working papers Perform testing of financial statements and controls Support bookkeeping and accounts preparation when needed Liaise with clients and resolve queries Ensure compliance and maintain accurate documentation Requirements Strong interest in pursuing a career in accountancy Excellent attention to detail and numerical skills Good communication and interpersonal skills Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Studying or willing to study towards AAT Benefits Career progression opportunities within the practice Flexible working options, including a hybrid model.
