About The Role
Our Engineers on board (“Flying Spanners”) are a key part of our Charter Team. This essential role will carry out daily checks and defect rectification down route, ensuring we keep our aeroplanes flying and our customers happy. This role also supports liaison between our CAMO and our maintenance organisation.
Essential Skills & Experience- A current CAA Part 66 B1 License with type ratings on B737 Classic and NG.
- Demonstrable recency on type.
- A B2 License and rating, in addition to B1, would be a significant advantage.
- Ability to be flexible, including spending periods away from home, sometimes at short notice.
- IT literate (MS Office, Web Based IT systems).
- Capable of working in small team, autonomously and with minimal supervision.
- Personable, with a customer focussed attitude.
- Proof of right to work in the UK and unrestricted travel documentation.
- Primarily based at Stansted Airport (EGSS), ideally you will live within a reasonable travelling distance of the airport.
- Experience of supporting a VIP airline and/or operating as an Engineer on board is desirable but not essential.
