Finance Manager

We're recruiting a Finance Manager to join a growing business based near Stansted. This role is ideal for a newly qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) who's ready to step into a broad, hands–on position with responsibility for a small finance team.

You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, taking ownership of day–to–day finance operations while helping to drive improvements and support business decision–making.

• Managing and developing a small finance team
• Producing monthly management accounts
• Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Ensuring robust financial controls and accurate reporting
• Supporting year–end accounts and liaising with external auditors
• Cashflow management and balance sheet oversight
• Identifying and implementing process improvements

• Newly qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Experience managing or supervising a small team (or acting as a senior / deputy)
• Strong technical accounting knowledge
• Confident communicator able to work with non–finance stakeholders
• Proactive, hands–on approach
• Experience in a fast–paced or growing business
• Exposure to systems or process improvement projects
