Assistant​/Quantity Surveyor - Civil Engineering

Our client, a leader in the civil engineering industry, is seeking an Assistant Quantity Surveyor/Quantity Surveyor to join their team. This is an exciting contract opportunity to support high-volume, lower-value works (typically up to £3-4m) across Stansted Airport. If you have a degree in Quantity Surveying and experience administering NEC contracts, we would love to hear from you.

• Administer NEC contracts, managing processes end-to-end
• Draft, manage, and run tenders
• Manage high-volume, lower-value projects within complex stakeholder environments
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure efficient delivery of works
• Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and procedures
• Conduct cost analyses and assessments
• Prepare and review detailed reports and documentation
• Maintain robust relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders

• Degree in Quantity Surveying
• Experience administering NEC contracts
• Hands‑on experience drafting and running tenders
• Understanding of high‑volume, lower‑value project management
• Experience with in the airport/aviation sector is desirable
• Ability to work full‑time on‑site initially, transitioning to a hybrid working pattern
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Proficiency in cost analysis and reporting
