MEP Project Engineer

Our client is seeking MEP Project Engineers for contract roles within Stansted Airport. This position will require on-site presence at Stansted three days a week.

Key Responsibilities:

Coordinate and oversee contractor design and construction activities, including reviewing drawings, resolving technical queries, and ensuring safety and quality compliance.
Manage defects, permits, and documentation, track progress and close-out actions, and support issue escalation.
Liaise with stakeholders and site teams to remove delivery blockers and ensure smooth execution.
Provide technical and commercial support, advising on construction methods, early warnings, compensation events, and validation of contractor claims.

Job Requirements:

Proven experience in aviation or transport projects
Understanding of design and document control systems
Experience in M&E Project Management and Project Engineering on industrial fit-out projects
Knowledge of civils and structural engineering is highly desirable
Capability to work on-site at Stansted three days a week
