We’re looking for a passionate and skilled individual to join us as a Roofer in our Property Services team working within Responsive Repairs. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team that’s making a real difference in people’s lives.
About the RoleWe’re looking for a Roofer to join the team to assist Karbon Homes in delivering an excellent repairs and maintenance service that promotes a culture of customer first and continuous improvement.
You should have completed a recognised Roofing trade apprenticeship or have equivalent relevant experience and possess all the skills necessary to deliver all aspects of Roofing works to a high standard in occupied and void, domestic and non-domestic premises ranging from minor repairs to the installation of major components.
You should hold relevant qualifications (refer to person specification) and have experience of the trade.
Customer service skills are essential for this role as is an excellent knowledge of health and safety.
A full UK driving licence is essential.
About our teamThis vacancy sits within our Responsive Repairs and Empty Homes Team. Applications are welcomed from those based across North East.
Key Details- Roofer – Permanent contract
- Salary is £33,148 per annum
- Location:
Stanley/Consett – will be agreed with the successful candidate prior to their start date. - 37 hours per week
- Working patterns are 8am-4pm.
- The successful applicant will be required to work throughout the North East, particularly near to Consett and Stanley.
- Company van provided.
- There may be an opportunity to earn additional money through overtime.
