Skilled Aluminium Fabricator

With over 25 years experience, Hiatco is an internationally-recognised engineering company specialising in aluminium welding and general fabrication. We work across a variety of sectors including marine/subsea, overhead line equipment and special access equipment.

Job Duties:

• Welding & Fabricating in aluminium
• Understand work plans
• Completing job-specific paperwork
• Understanding Health & Safety measure in a factory / manufacturing environment and contribute to a safe working place.
• Preventative Maintenance of equipment to a high standard

The Successful Candidate should:

• Be willing to attend our facility and partake in an interview.
• Have at least 5 years previous aluminium fabrication experience
• Basic machining skills
• Be able to read and understand engineering drawings
• Be comfortable working in a team environment as well as independently
• Have strong work ethic and a keen eye for detail

Additional Desirable Skills / Qualifications

• Basic aluminium TIG welding
• Basic First Aid Training

Place & Hours of Work:

The successful candidate should be able to reliably commute to DH9 8NJ
or plan to relocate before starting work.

Hours of work:

• Monday - Thursday 8:00am – 4:45pm
• Friday 8:00am - 1:30pm

Pay:
Upto £16.70 per hour dependant on experience.
