Management Accountant

Mon-Fri (9-5) Your new company Hays Senior Finance are working with an ambitious SME business in the Worcester area as they seek a Management Accountant to join their team on a fixed-term contract basis. Our client is an innovative, privately-owned company that balances purpose with performance and every product purchased supports community wellbeing and mental health initiatives. Your new role As the business navigates a period of change, you will provide invaluable and hands-on day-to-day management accounting support whilst helping with the implementation of a new ERP system.

Main duties:
Prepare monthly management accounts including P&L and balance sheet reporting Provide variance analysis and commentary to support decision-making Partner with non-finance teams to understand and explain drivers of business performance Support refinements and improvements to financial processes Help with the implementation/optimisation of Business Central into the finance function What you'll need to succeed Qualified or part-qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Proven track record in management accounting roles, preferably within an SME setting Experience using Business Central/MS Dynamics 365 (non-negotiable) Retail/manufacturing background (highly advantageous) Excellent communication skills with the confidence to build relationships at all levels Comfortable operating in a busy and fast-paced environment What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
