Night Warehouse Manager

Streamline Recruitment are currently recruiting for a dedicated Night Shift Warehouse Manager on behalf of our client based in Stanford le Hope. You’ll take ownership of the warehouse operation during the night shift, ensuring it runs safely, efficiently and in line with compliance standards. The role covers multi contracts and involves managing a small close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee all warehouse operations during the night shift, including inbound, outbound, picking, packing and despatch activities.

* Deliver effective shift briefings and ensure a clear, detailed handover to the day operation

* Ensure warehouse systems, including the WMS, are used accurately and consistently

* Lead and support a small team, driving performance and maintaining engagement.

* Ensure customer orders are processed in line with agreed service level requirements across both contracts.

* Take ownership of Health & Safety, compliance and site standards throughout the shift.

* Manage attendance, sickness, holidays and timekeeping in accordance with company policies.

* Monitor stock accuracy and investigate or escalate discrepancies where necessary.

* Complete shift reports, KPI updates and all required operational documentation.

* Identify and escalate any operational, system or service-related risks as required.

Skills & Experience

* Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or management position

* Strong understanding of warehouse operations

* Good knowledge of Health & Safety and compliance standards

* Confident people manager with clear and effective communication skills

* Competent using WMS and basic reporting or performance monitoring tools

Night Shift – 22:00 to 06:00, Sunday to Thursday (finishing last shift on Friday morning)
