Traffic Administrator

Streamline Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Traffic Administrator who has experience working within the container haulage sector, for a fantastic client of ours based in Stanford-le-Hope.

This is a busy, operational role supporting the traffic team, with a strong focus on container booking, liaising with drivers & customers, managing paperwork and updating systems.

Duties:

* Working closely with the operations team to ensure bookings and job details are accurately allocated on VBS

* Using TRUCKCOM to manage and update container movements

* Receiving and issuing PIN numbers for container releases

* Handling customer enquiries and providing updates on ETAs, delays and changes

* Collating and checking paperwork for completed jobs

* Participating in daily booking and administration activities, including managing emails and phone calls

* Liaising effectively between the administration team, customers and internal departments

* Applying knowledge of container sizes and specifications to ensure accurate bookings

What we’re looking for

* Previous experience in a Traffic Administrator / Transport Administrator role

* Container haulage experience is essential

* Familiarity with VBS and TRUCKCOM systems (preferred)

* Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure

* Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach

£26,000 – £32,000 (DOE)

Monday – Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 or 09:00 – 17:00
