Chelsea Piers is seeking passionate, energetic, and committed part-time Gymnastics Team Coaches to inspire and guide athletes in our boys and girls competitive team program. We’re looking for coaches who enjoy working in a collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate will have at least one year of coaching experience, preferably at a competitive level, and a genuine enthusiasm for teaching and learning. As a Gymnastics Team Coach at Chelsea Piers, you’ll foster a supportive, motivating, and engaging atmosphere where gymnasts can develop their skills, build confidence, and deepen their love for the sport.

• Teach competitive teams and recreational classes
• Instruct Gymnastics Team athletes
• Utilize safe and best practices
• Attend all scheduled hours
• Follow rotation schedule
• Track class attendance

Schedule: up to 25 hours per week, afternoons and evenings 3:30 pm–8:00 pm, one weekend morning/early afternoon per week.

Compensation: $22-$35/hour, depending on experience

• At least one year of experience coaching gymnastics is required, preferably at a competitive level
• Experience working with children is a must
• Exhibits an energetic, professional, and courteous demeanor at all times
• Ability to work independently or within a group
• Willingness to learn from and share knowledge with coworkers
• Enjoys working in team environment
• Must be energetic and enthusiastic
• Punctual and reliable. Maintains a neat and professional appearance at all times (CP Uniform).
