Data Engineer
Akkodis is seeking an Engineer for a Contract with a client in Stamford, CT (Remote). Candidate must have strong expertise in designing and optimizing Snowflake-based data architectures with the ability to build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
Rate Range$56/hour to $79/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Designing and maintaining scalable ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake, SQL, Python, and cloud services.
Building optimized data models across staging, warehouse, and datamart layers using best‑practice performance techniques.
Developing automated data ingestion workflows for structured and semi‑structured sources such as JSON, Parquet, XML, and APIs.
Implementing business requirements using Snowflake features including Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, Zero Copy Cloning, and Snowpipe.
Monitoring and troubleshooting pipelines to ensure data quality, system stability, and timely data availability.
Collaborating with architects, analysts, and business teams to translate functional needs into scalable data solutions.
bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, data engineering, or a related technical field.
6–8 years of experience in data warehousing, ETL/ELT development, and cloud‑based data engineering.
Candidate must have strong hands‑on expertise in Snowflake, SQL/PLSQL, data modelling, and pipeline development using modern cloud tools.
Candidate must have the capability to design automated ingestion workflows, manage orchestration tools, and collaborate with teams to deliver scalable data solutions.

Pay Details$56.00 to $79.00 per hour
