About the role

The Digital Merchandising Associate is responsible for the day-to-day execution of site merchandising to deliver a premium customer experience and drive product performance against top line revenue goals. This role plays a critical part in channel performance and works cross-functionally with Ecommerce, Merchandising, Creative, Marketing, Production, and external partners. The ideal candidate is data-driven, detail-oriented, and highly collaborative, with a strong understanding of digital merchandising best practices and the ability to iterate quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategically merchandise the site using performance data, customer search behavior, inventory position, marketing initiatives, and deep knowledge of the product assortment to drive conversion and revenue
  • Visually position key marketing stories and merchandise the core funnel to align with seasonal campaigns and brand initiatives
  • Collaborate with ecommerce stakeholders to optimize site merchandising, search functionality, navigation, and landing page experiences to improve product discoverability and conversion
  • Work in close partnership with the Content Associate to align priorities and create a cohesive, best-in-class customer journey
  • Execute the end-to-end product launch process, partnering cross-functionally to ensure new products are launched accurately and on time
  • Own all product imports and updates in Shopify, ensuring product data, attributes, and inputs are accurate for launches and ongoing maintenance
  • Partner closely with Production, Technical Design, Merchandising, Creative, and Product Marketing to ensure product content, imagery, copy, and sizing information are complete and accurate
  • Ensure pricing accuracy across the site and coordinate promotional pricing, markdowns, and sitewide promotions with internal teams
  • Troubleshoot and resolve site issues related to products or customer experience, including copy, tags, categorization, and navigation
  • Partner with ecommerce vendors and platforms to continuously improve site functionality and user experience
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve sell-through, conversion, and engagement through A/B testing, UX enhancements, and merchandising optimizations
  • Support additional initiatives and responsibilities as needed to meet business goals and contribute to overall team success

Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in ecommerce merchandising or a related digital commerce role
  • Hands-on experience with ecommerce platforms and analytics tools, including Shopify and Google Analytics
  • Strong proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables, to support day-to-day execution, reporting, and data maintenance
  • Familiarity with A/B testing methodologies and conversion optimization best practices
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with the ability to take initiative in day-to-day responsibilities
