Cardiology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
Join The Med Elite Group as a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. In this role, you will provide comprehensive care to patients with heart-related conditions, working closely with cardiologists and a dedicated healthcare team.

Job SummaryWe are seeking a friendly and compassionate professional to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality, proactive care to residents in skilled nursing and long‑term care facilities.
Responsibilities- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests.
- Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions.
- Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
- Conduct cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, preventive measures, and medication adherence.
- Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and families.
- Apply knowledge of CMS regulations and NCQA HEDIS guidelines.
- Document accurate medical records to ensure compliance with OSHA and governmental regulations, and perform duties in accordance with site quality and safety systems.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
- Analyze and organize the care of critically complex patients.
- Minimum 6 months of experience in long‑term care or a skilled nursing facility.
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license.
- DEA License.
- CPR BCLS/BLS certified.
- Must hold a Master's Degree in Nursing.
- Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Preferred experience in cardiology: training provided.
- Preferred experience documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided.
- Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds and stand or walk on your feet for 6‑8 hours per day.
