- As a valued member of our team, you will:
- Provide assessment, triage, and therapeutic management of patient/family needs throughout the process as an integral part of an interdisciplinary team.
- Work in collaboration with the attending supervising/collaborating physician(s) in accordance with state law and hospital regulations, hospital policy, protocols, and clinical pathways, and may provide autonomous team-based care.
- Obtain medical histories, perform physical examinations, review/order diagnostic/therapeutic tests and radiologic results, formulate and manage patient treatment plans.
- Educate patients and families on care and available resources, including admitting instructions, treatment plans, potential side effects, and discharge plans.
- Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Minimum two years of experience in clinical practice.
- Experience and training working with geriatric population strongly preferred.
- Active, unrestricted CT medical license or in process of obtaining.
- ACLS/BLS (as required) certification.
- DEA License.
