Development Director

Pacific House is dedicated to providing a safe overnight shelter for individuals experiencing homelessness, specifically men and young adults. This is a full-time, on-site role for a Development Director located in Stamford, CT. The Development Director will oversee the organization’s fundraising initiatives, including planned and annual giving programs, and coordinate philanthropic campaigns to support the organization’s mission. Key responsibilities include cultivating relationships with donors, managing the fundraising budget, leading donor solicitation efforts, and analyzing the effectiveness of development strategies. The role will also involve collaborating with other departments to align fundraising goals with organizational objectives.

• Proficiency in Planned Giving and Annual Giving strategies
• Experience in Philanthropy and building donor relationships
• Expertise in Budgeting and financial planning for fundraising campaigns
• Demonstrated success in managing Fundraising initiatives and achieving targets
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in an on-site environment and collaborate with team members
• Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred)
• Familiarity with CRM tools and fundraising software is a plus
