Position: Account Manager (Client Services) (Technology Client)

Overview

THE JOB / Account Manager (Client Services) (Technology Client)
CLIENT SERVICES – Responsible for leading Octagon's client business and day-to-day management of client programs.

The Work You'll Do
  • Implement client's sponsorship portfolio, including a title sponsorship, branded and custom content coordination, media strategy & execution, brand ambassador contractual fulfillment, as well as continuous portfolio evaluation
  • Lead all logistics of brand ambassador relationship, including athlete appearances including lodging, transportation, food and beverage, production services, and more
  • Help co-lead client's events, including branded integration, athlete appearances, guest communication, golf course logistics, etc.
  • Lead all weekly status calls and other key meetings with both internal and external constituents, including continuous management of client budget
  • Serve as a trusted and reliable agency contact for client sponsorship team, player agents, internal client departments and client's agency partners
  • Ensure contractual compliance and fulfillment of sponsorship assets, and handle the day-to-day logistics of implementing various property elements
  • Ensure various agency partners are aligned and advised on timelines, as well as keep projects moving alongside target timelines and budgets
  • Supervision of junior staff, including full time and limited term positions

Who We re Looking For
  • A minimum of 5 years of sponsorship marketing and/or experience in managing marketing platforms
  • A standout colleague who is curious not only to grow in your job but also wants to help others and learn the different parts of the business
  • You are eager to learn, grow and raise your hand for projects and navigating client requests
  • A problem solver – you recognize problems before they happen and have solutions ready to go
  • A self-starter with the ability to get going quickly and juggle multiple projects on tight timelines
  • Previous work shows you know what it takes to make connections with clients and are flexible and adaptable in working with various personalities
  • Sufficient understanding of the golf industry
  • Experience in managing, and forecasting against, a budget
  • Experience leading and growing junior staff
  • Passionate to make an overall account contribution with new projects and ideas
  • Excellent communication, writing and client service skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and acute attention to detail
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel domestically and work weekends or holidays as needed. Anticipated travel:
    Low (0-15%)

The base range for this position is $60,000 – 65,000. Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee s/applicant s background pertinent experience, and qualifications.
