This is a full-time position for a Patent Attorney or Agent at Whitmyer IP Group in Stamford, CT. The role involves managing all aspects of patent prosecution, including preparing and drafting patent applications, performing patentability assessments, and drafting amendments for pending patent applications. The successful candidate will collaborate with the team to ensure high-quality legal and technical IP solutions for clients.

• Strong expertise in Patent Applications, Patent Preparation, and Patent Law
• Proficiency in conducting patentability analyses and understanding the patent filing process.
• A degree in a technical field (e.g., engineering, physics, computer science) is required.
• Admission to the USPTO bar or a state bar admission, preferably in Connecticut, is required.
• Outstanding analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities for effective client interactions
