Overview

Role Summary/

Purpose:

The Loyalty Build & Integration Program Manager will lead projects to launch loyalty capabilities. This role requires fostering cross-team relationships and bridging the comprehension gap between business teams and technology teams. It oversees specific phases of a project or the entire project as Program Manager and translates business needs from the Product Manager into functional requirements. The successful candidate will blend skills for implementing new loyalty features, capabilities, and platforms, and may collaborate with other Project Managers to ensure an aggregated program-level view of the initiative.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight of interrelated projects involving business, IT, and external teams; program manage to achieve the desired business objective outcomes.
  • Define scope and objectives of loyalty projects and develop detailed business requirements with the Product Manager, from which IT teams can create technical specifications.
  • Act as the Product Owner in an Agile framework, providing direction to IT teams as agreed upon by business needs.
  • Define stories and prioritize the backlog of features with the Product Manager to maintain the conceptual and technical integrity of enterprise loyalty platforms in an Agile framework.
  • Develop detailed project plans with milestones, dates, and progress status; partner with project leaders across internal functions and external suppliers to ensure a cohesive project launch.
  • Lead client teams through capabilities education, requirements gathering, design, build, and validation phases for loyalty platform migrations as needed.
  • Deliver loyalty projects within schedule, feature/functionality, and budget constraints.
  • Analyze and evaluate client-initiated changes to existing Loyalty systems and prioritize with the Product Manager, considering IT impact.
  • Manage work across multiple business functions to deliver an integrated solution usually comprising products, services, or a formalized offering.
  • Establish a strategy of continuous risk management with visible, measurable, and repeatable processes throughout the project life cycle.
  • Monitor project resources, schedule, and features; compare actual performance with planned performance and take corrective actions as needed.
  • Collect, review, and publish project status on resources, schedule, stakeholder management, and solution quality that influence performance and completion.
  • Conduct obstacle analyses and submit recommendations for solutions in line with methodologies, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist the Product Manager in developing the Product Roadmap for Core Releases to strengthen the platform and maintain competitiveness without compromising integrity.
  • Analyze complex loyalty problems and issues and offer alternative business solutions; lead cross-functional teams to resolution.
  • Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned.
Qualifications/Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree. In lieu of a degree, high school diploma and 8+ years of work experience in business, project management, or business operations.
  • Minimum of 6 years of demonstrated experience owning the build of business or IT project plans, developing business requirements, and communicating project status.
  • Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required.

Grade/Level: 12

The salary range for this position is - USD annual and is eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance. Actual compensation offered within the posted range will be based on experience and skill level. Salaries are adjusted according to market in CA, NY Metro, and Seattle.
