We are seeking a Strategic Cybersecurity Lead to own and operationalize a municipal-level security program. Operating under executive leadership, you will move beyond simple monitoring to design the enterprise-wide risk architecture. You are the architect, the auditor, and the first responder for a high-stakes government environment.

• Governance & Taxonomy: Build the organization’s IT Risk Taxonomy
  , Risk Register, and Control Inventory from the ground up.
• Framework Mastery: Ensure 100% alignment with NIST CSF 2.0, RMF, FISMA, and ISO 27001
  .
• Risk & SOC Auditing: Lead annual Technology Risk and Control Self-Assessments (
  RCSA
  ) and conduct deep-dive SOC testing for data integrity.
• Security Ops: Manage the full stack—SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, and Endpoint protection.
• Incident Leadership: Don’t just report incidents—lead the containment and recovery efforts for enterprise-wide events.

• 8–10 Years of progressive experience in Info Sec or Risk Management.
• Expertise in Zero Trust Architecture and Cloud Security (AWS/Azure/Gov Cloud).
• Compliance Powerhouse: Proven track record with POA&M remediation cycles and federal/municipal auditing.
• Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, CISM, or CRISC.
