What you’ll be DOINGWhat will your essential responsibilities include?
As a Senior Business Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with users, Technical support team, and stakeholders to determine system requirements, translating and prioritizing them for application enhancements.
- Developing detailed requirements and functional specifications that support user needs, while producing and maintaining comprehensive documentation.
- Negotiating scope and timelines, ensuring alignment between operational needs and IT capabilities, while maintaining end-to-end ownership of deliverables.
- Managing requirement through JIRA processes and assisting in the automation of business requirements.
- Supporting the implementation of new systems and resolving user issues to minimize disruptions in business activities.
- Collaboration with business stakeholder to Facilitate application change planning and driving process improvements to enhance productivity.
- Coaching and mentoring team members and demonstrating leadership by introducing innovative ideas for requirements gathering and solution design.
- Building strong peer relationships across IT to support effective implementations and maintain a robust understanding of assigned systems and processes.
You will report to Technical Delivery Manager/ Application Manager.
What you will BRING RequiredSkills and Abilities
- Experience in a business analyst role, with a broad understanding of business technology and applications.
- Knowledge of the insurance business model and its processes, along with foundational understanding across policies and business models.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A results-oriented mindset with excellent time management, organizational, and collaboration skills.
- Expertise in Agile, SAFe, or hybrid methodologies.
- (Desired) Knowledge of SDLC, SQL queries, and Agile methodology.
- Effective communication with business users and IT team.
