IT Business Analyst
This Business / Systems Analyst III will join the Subsidized Rural Build (SRB) team, part of the Location Lifecycle Management organization for one of our Fortune 100 telecommunications clients. The team ensures address and company attribute accuracy across 55+ million serviceable locations and makes these locations visible to downstream partners such as Sales and Marketing to support customer growth.
In this role, you will support the SRB program by ensuring newly constructed locations meet federal, state, and local regulatory readiness requirements, including correct billing codes, service readiness (internet, video, voice), and franchise agreements. You will serve as a key liaison between business users and engineering/development teams, translating operational needs into actionable system requirements and reporting deliverables.
Key Responsibilities- Review, analyze, and evaluate IT systems operations and supporting data
- Serve as the primary point of contact between business users and engineering/development teams
- Identify, document, track, and report system and data issues
- Translate business needs into formal technical requirements and reporting artifacts
- Ensure new construction locations meet regulatory and program readiness standards
- Develop and maintain reporting to support compliance and progress tracking
- Present insights and updates to stakeholders as needed
- Reporting: 70%
- Analysis: 20%
- Presentations & Meetings: 10%
- 5–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Systems Analyst
- Strong background supporting IT systems and business process analysis
- High proficiency in Excel, SharePoint, and Power Point
- Experience translating business requirements into technical documentation
- Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience in regulated or compliance-focused environments preferred
- Work on government-funded infrastructure and broadband initiatives
- High-impact, enterprise-scale experience within a Fortune 100 telecommunications client
- Exposure to multiple internal organizations, supporting long-term career growth
