As a Senior Microsoft Systems Engineer, you’ll:

• Design, build, migrate, secure, and optimize Microsoft environments
• Lead infrastructure, DR, and security projects
• Handle advanced L3 escalations when things get real
• Work directly with customers — advising, fixing, improving

Expect a mix of projects + advanced support in a fast-paced MSP environment.

You’ll work across:

• Windows Server,
  Microsoft 365 & Exchange

& hybrid infrastructure
• Disaster Recovery & BDR (Datto, Veeam, SaaS backups)
• Cybersecurity best practices across client environments

You’ll also act as Technical Lead / Project Lead on modernization and MSP platform initiatives.

Plan and execute:

• Exchange & Microsoft 365 migrations
• Azure and hybrid infrastructure implementations

Design, implement, and manage:

• DR & BDR solutions (Datto, Veeam, SaaS backups)
• Azure and Microsoft 365 environments
• Cybersecurity best‑practice standards across client environments

Act as Project / Technical Lead on:

• Standardization and modernization initiatives

You’ll implement and manage core MSP platforms, helping ensure:

• Stability
• Scalability
• Security
• Consistency across customer environments

Support & Operations (When Things godt Break)

You’ll provide L2/L3 escalation support across:

• Servers
• Microsoft 365
• Networks
• Security platforms

Your day‑to‑day will include:

• Troubleshooting via phone, email, and ticketing systems
• Tracking and managing requests in line with SLAాము and ITIL practices
• Monitoring queues and escalating SLA risks before they explode
• Maintaining accurate technical documentation and system records

You’ll troubleshoot and support:

• LAN/WAN connectivity
• Switches, routers, firewalls
• Endpoints and reiivatives
• DNS, SPF, DKIM, DMARC
• Email systems and deliverability issues

You OBS also plan and implement:

• Patch management strategies
• Service packs and updates

And yes — you’ll participate in a rotating after‑hours support schedule.

What You Need to Bring

• 3+ years in a progressive technical support or systems engineering role
• (5+ years preferred
  )
• Recent hands‑on experience (within the last 12–24 months
  ) with:
• Server and Microsoft 365 / Exchange migrations
• Disaster recovery and backup solutions (Datto, Veeam, etc.)
• Email security and spam filtering platforms
• Firewalls and security tools
• Strong experience with:
• Windows Server
• Microsoft 365
• PC / laptop deployment, troubleshooting, and malware remediation
• TCP/IP
• DNS
• Routing and switching

Ways of Working

• A+, Server+, Security+, Microsoft certifications (or equivalent)
• Cybersecurity certifications (highly advantageous)
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related field
• Deep experience with:
• Windows Server
• Microsoft 365
• Networking and security infrastructure
