Anywhere in Country (remote with occasional travel)

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of AI‑ready data architectures and data platforms.
• Manage and deliver multiple data architecture projects, ensuring quality, risk mitigation, and alignment with business goals.
• Coach and mentor junior architects and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Data Scientists, Business Analysts, IT) to define data requirements and shape analytics solutions.
• Engage senior business leaders to understand goals, propose data strategies, and build compelling business cases.
• Lead workshops and design sessions to capture use cases, personas, and key processes.
• Establish data governance policies, including security, quality, and lifecycle management.
• Stay current with industry trends, recommending technology innovations to enhance capabilities.

• Applications integration and cloud computing architecture.
• Data architecture design and modelling.
• Data integration, quality, and AI/Agentic AI driven data operations.
• Experience delivering use cases in Transmission / Distribution / Generation / Customer.
• Trusted advisor to senior decision makers and internal EY teams.
• Effective communication with C‑level stakeholders.
• Leadership of global data architecture and engineering teams.
• Data governance and security best practices.
• Knowledge of emerging data platform technologies (Data Fabrics, Mesh, Lake Houses).
• Project management in Agile and Waterfall environments.

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM.
• 8+ years in professional consulting or technology consulting.
• 8+ years designing and delivering data lake solutions.
• 3+ years with native cloud products (Azure or GCP).
• 5+ years mentoring data architects and engineers.
• Strong knowledge of data architecture principles.
• Hands‑on experience with Python, Java, or Scala.
• Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
• Version control (Git) and Dev Ops practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.

• Master’s degree in Electrical / Power Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Data Science, or Machine Learning.
• Background at a Big 4 firm or major utility.
• Experience with Databricks or similar cloud data platforms.
• Proven mentorship and professional development of teams.
• Passion for innovation and emerging technologies.

• Competitive salary ranging from $125,500 to $230,200 (US); prime locations include $150,700 to $261,600.
