- Lead the architecture/design, implementation, best practices, and optimization of analytics solutions using Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, SAP, and SAP BW.
- Define data roadmaps, architecture vision, and adoption of emerging analytics technologies.
- Establish enterprise data architecture strategy, governance frameworks, and standards aligned with business goals.
- Manage partners and vendor relationships – oversee the implementation of third‑party analytics tools and services.
- Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of full‑stack analytics developers.
- Develop and maintain scalable data models and dashboards to support business insights and strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across the organization to understand analytics needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Drive the integration of AI technologies to enhance predictive analytics and automation capabilities.
- Ensure data governance, quality, and security across all analytics platforms.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve analytics capabilities.
- 10+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data management roles.
- Proven track record leading multiple end‑to‑end implementations of Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW), Data Lake/Lakehouse, and Business Intelligence (BI) solutions.
- Strong hands‑on, end‑to‑end implementation experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL Server, SSAS, and SSRS.
- Expertise developing analytics solutions on Cloud Analytics platforms (Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake, AWS, GCP, etc.).
- Experience implementing AI‑driven analytics solutions.
- Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and data visualization best practices.
- Expert‑level data modeling skills, including Star Schema and Third Normal Form (3NF) design.
- Proven ability to handle structured, semi‑structured, and unstructured data types (JSON, XML, EDI, etc.).
- Skilled in diverse data ingestion methods – APIs, ODBC, JDBC, and custom connectors.
- Comprehensive understanding of the EDW/BI development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment and support.
- Strong knowledge of Self‑Service BI best practices and Agile BI development methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead cross‑functional projects and communicate complex data concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
- Experience in consumer products or similar industry preferred.
- Domain knowledge across Finance, Sales, Marketing, Logistics, and Supply Chain.
- Strong data understanding of SAP functional modules (FI, SD, MM, PP, PM, IBP); familiarity with Manhattan data is a plus.
- Experience integrating data from third‑party aggregators such as Nielsen and Circana.
- Bachelor’s degree in data science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
- This role requires Stamford, CT office on‑site presence Monday through Thursday, with the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere on Fridays.
