Job Description
Our client is looking for a Azure Dev Ops Engineer to sit remote nearshore. In this role, the engineer will build and maintain secure Azure Dev Ops pipelines, automate infrastructure provisioning and patching using tools like Terraform and Bicep, and monitor cloud environments to respond to incidents proactively. They will embed security into workflows, maintain detailed technical documentation, support compliance audits, and contribute to cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
Half of their time will be working on projects while the other half will be spent maintaining the current operating environment. $20/hr

- 5-10 years of experience working as a Cloud Engineer, Azure Dev Ops Engineer, etc.
- Scripting & Automation:
Bash, Power Shell, Linux shells - Strong experience working with Linux
- Ability to automate infrastructure tasks and build reusable scripts for provisioning and monitoring
- Infrastructure as Code:
Terraform, Bicep - Experience using IaC to manage cloud resources, version control best practices etc.
- CI/CD:
Azure Dev Ops pipelines (build, release, security integration) - Cloud Engineering:
Azure services (VMs, App Services, Networking), - Past experience deploying and managing workloads in Azure
- Experience supporting an on-prem to Azure migration
- Security Tools:
Familiarity with industry-standard tools (Crowd Strike, Prisma Cloud, Nessus, etc.) - Experience integrating with security, monitoring environments, managing access policies
- Communication:
Strong communication skills with the ability to operate independently Microsoft
Certifications:
Azure Dev Ops, Azure - Prior experience working for an insurance or financial company
