Job Summary
Akkodis is seeking a Data Lake Support Engineer for a contract with a client in Stamford, CT (Hybrid).
Rate: $37/hour to $42/hour (negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors).
Responsibilities- Manage and support Azure-based data lake environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Develop and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks, leveraging PySpark scripting for data processing.
- Implement infrastructure as code using Power Shell and Terraform for automation and scalability.
- Configure and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Azure Dev Ops to streamline deployments and updates.
- Provide production support and incident management, adhering to ITIL best practices for stability and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize data workflows and ensure secure, efficient data operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (master’s preferred).
- Minimum 6‑8 years in IT with strong experience in Azure Data Lake and related services.
- Hands‑on expertise in Azure Databricks (PySpark scripting), Azure Data Factory, and Azure Dev Ops for CI/CD pipelines.
- Proven experience in infrastructure automation using Power Shell and Terraform, along with Azure administration and development (ADF/ADB/DL).
