Human Resources Generalist
We have an exciting opportunity for a personable, strategic, team-oriented person to join our team as a Human Resources Generalist. The Human Resources Generalist supports the execution of Human Resources practices, programs, procedures, processes, and objectives. This position is responsible for maintaining all employee record keeping and paperwork in addition to supporting employee recruitment, special projects and constant improvements to processes and services.

- Maintain all employee and human resources records to include employment files, I-9 documents, employment status changes, personnel files, applications, resumes, etc.
- Assist in the editing and follow up of policies, procedures, job descriptions and employee handbooks.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state and local employment law and compliance requirements.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes and new technologies in human resources, talent management and employment law.
- Support positive employee relations by promptly responding to calls from employees, answering questions and escalating issues/concerns to the Director of Human Resources.
- Assist with conducting employee surveys and analyzing the data.
- Aid in the development and promotion of employee recognition programs.
- Maintain appropriate paperwork regarding Worker Compensation Claims, Leaves of Absence, off-boarding and unemployment claims.
Salary Range: $80,000 - $85,000
Requirements- Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Human Resources or relevant field
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Strong knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
