Director, Fund Accounting – GP Funds

Company Overview

A leading global growth investor with over four decades of experience, managing approximately $123 billion in assets, is seeking to hire a Fund Accounting Director to support their General Partner team. This role will involve overseeing day-to-day operations and collaborating with various teams on the carry program.

• Review deliverables and journal entries prepared by junior team members
• Liaison with Human Capital Management to track and maintain carry allocations and grants
• Reviewed carry calculations and distribution models, including the review and sign-off of wire transfers
• Assist in the preparation of quarterly financials and work closely with the corporate accounting team on consolidation
• Work with both internal and external tax teams to help prepare quarterly tax estimates and the annual returns for the carry participants
• Work with the third-party administrator to prepare and approve various NAV packages on a quarterly basis
• Collaborate with the fund accounting team to analyze various data points that impact the carry program
• Coordinate with the management company and fund accounting team on expense reimbursements and allocations
• Utilize technology to automate current processes to increase efficiency and accuracy, and assist with any special ad-hoc projects

• CPA preferred
• 6+ years of Public/Private accounting experience, ideally in Private Equity
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; experience with AI, Altyrex, Anaplan, or Power BI is a plus

Salary: $150,000 – $190,000, Plus Bonus
