Position Overview:
The firm is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Associate to join the investment team. The Senior Associate will be an integral member of a small, experienced team and will play a critical role in evaluating new investment opportunities, executing transactions, and supporting portfolio company initiatives.
This role offers significant exposure to all aspects of the investment lifecycle, including sourcing, diligence, transaction structuring, and portfolio management.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct detailed industry and market research to support investment theses.
- Perform financial modeling and valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, comparable company analysis, etc.).
- Assist in evaluating and executing investment opportunities, including due diligence, management presentations, and coordinating third-party advisors.
- Support preparation of internal and investment committee materials.
- Support preparation and review of transaction‑related materials including IOIs, term sheets, LOIs, and transaction documentation.
- Participate in portfolio company monitoring and value creation initiatives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with intermediaries, advisors, and potential deal sources.
- 4–7 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, transaction services, M&A‑related consulting or similar fields.
- Strong financial modeling, accounting, and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple work streams with attention to detail and deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team‑oriented with strong, self‑starter mentality.
- Bachelor’s degree from a top‑tier university; finance, accounting, or economics background preferred.
- Prior experience or direct exposure to lower middle‑market private equity is a plus but not required.
- Exposure to all facets of private equity investing in a lean team environment.
