Payroll Analyst

Job Description

The Atlantic Group has partnered with a global organization in the Stamford, CT area. They have an immediate need for a Payroll Analyst to join their team. This position is a full-time contract role with the opportunity to become permanent based on performance.

Work schedule: Hybrid.

• Process bi-weekly, semi-monthly and weekly payroll
• Verify local HR representatives have approved and committed time cards
• Process quick entry and upload imports
• Run reports to be audited
• Audit and balance payroll
• Calculate and prepare manual checks as needed and keep accurate log of checks
• Calculate and process wire payments
• Process Union Dues, Life, and Health and Welfare payments
• Record wages for W2 purposes
• Long Term Incentives
• Relocation Benefits
• Taxable Fringe Benefits
• Third Party Sick Pay
• Provide support for internal audit requests
• Address employee questions concerning pay and/or deductions
• Provide support to payroll team on various projects

• Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred
• Workday experience is a plus
• Strong Excel skills (Vlookups, Pivot Tables, etc.)
• High volume payroll processing experience
