AR Analyst

Accounts Receivable Analyst About the Company

Our client is a growing and well-established Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) company headquartered in Stamford CT. With strong retail partnerships and national distribution, they are seeking a driven Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their dynamic finance team.

The Accounts Receivable Analyst will be responsible for managing the full-cycle AR process, with a strong focus on cash applications, deductions management, chargebacks, and account reconciliations. This role will partner closely with sales, customer service, and major retail accounts to ensure accurate and timely collections.

• Manage full-cycle accounts receivable for the assigned customer portfolio

• Apply daily cash receipts and reconcile customer accounts

• Research and resolve short pays, chargebacks, and deductions

• Analyze aging reports and proactively follow up on outstanding balances

• Partner with Sales and Operations to resolve disputes

• Reconcile customer statements and prepare account analysis

• Assist with month-end close and AR reporting

• Support credit evaluations and monitor customer credit limits

• 3+ years of AR experience, preferably within CPG, retail, or distribution

• Experience handling chargebacks and deductions from major retailers

• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP preferred)

• Experience with ERP systems (Net Suite, SAP, MS Dynamics, or similar)

• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
