A Boutique Fund Administration Firm is seeking experienced candidates for several roles on their Fund Services Team. The roles range from a Senior Fund Accountant to Manager level.
Responsibilities- Prepare and review capital contribution and distribution calculations, management fee calculations, monthly cash reconciliations, expense schedules, and income allocations
- Prepare and review quarterly incentive allocation models for partnerships in accordance with partnership agreement terms
- Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements, including Statements of Assets and Liabilities/Partners’ Capital, Operations, Partners’ Capital, and Cash Flows, along with footnotes and supplemental management reports such as performance metrics
- Input investment and expense wires and prepare quarterly portfolio company invoices
- Compile audit support materials and collaborate with auditors during interim and annual audits
- Coordinate and distribute investor notices, including capital calls, distributions, and capital balances, through the client’s investor portal
- Respond to limited partner (LP) requests, investor inquiries, and ad hoc reporting needs in collaboration with Client Managers and Client Directors
- Manage deliverable timelines to ensure deadlines are met, including participation in weekly client calls to align on capital activity and ongoing priorities
- Perform other duties, as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field (CPA a plus, but not required)
- 3–12 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within private equity, partnerships, and/or alternative assets
- Strong understanding of fund accounting processes, including journal entries, roll forwards, capital activity, and financial statement preparation
- Familiarity with a variety of investment types, including Equity, Debt, Co-Investments, and Funds of Funds
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including building and maintaining complex spreadsheets; experience with Investran (including Investran Live) and CRM platforms is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively
- Willingness to take initiative and support ad hoc projects and evolving business needs
- Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
