Strategic Finance Associate

Our client is a leading Fintech firm based in Stamford, CT. They're looking to add a talented Strategic Finance Associate to their growing team. The firm has an excellent reputation and is held in high regard.

• Contribute to company-wide and subsidiary-level financial analysis, partnering with multiple teams to support strong performance and alignment with strategic objectives.
• Lead core financial planning activities, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and evaluating variances.
• Build complex financial models, conduct valuation assessments, and analyze profitability, then deliver insights to senior decision-makers.
• Work with cross-functional groups to help launch, scale, and organize the operations of new business units.
• Provide data-driven recommendations and financial analysis to senior leaders such as the CFO and FP&A head.
• Assist with special strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, fundraising efforts, and evaluating capital deployment.
• Collaborate with teams across investments, operations, and technology to advance organizational priorities and troubleshoot complicated financial issues.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related discipline preferred.
• 4–6 years of experience in investment banking, FP&A, strategic finance, or similar functions; exposure to venture capital, fintech, or crypto is advantageous.
• Strong financial modeling capabilities and demonstrated success managing financial processes and performance metrics.
• Advanced analytical skills with the ability to creatively solve intricate financial problems.
• Excellent communication abilities, including experience presenting financial conclusions to executive leadership.
