A well-established investment organization in Stamford is looking to add a Fund Accountant to its growing team. This role offers broad exposure to financial reporting, audits, and analysis across a large portfolio of real estate investment vehicles.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare quarterly work papers, financial statements, footnotes, and investor reporting
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required documentation
- Record tax-related journal entries for various entities
- Assist with GAAP projections and annual impairment reviews
- Support year-end 1099 processes and handle ad-hoc reporting needs
- Bachelor’s in Accounting or Finance (3.0+ GPA)
- 3–4+ years of accounting experience; real estate or investment fund experience a plus
- CPA or public accounting experience preferred
- Strong Excel skills, detail-oriented, and comfortable working under tight deadlines
