Assistant Corporate Controller (Director of Accounting)

The position offers growth potential into a Controller role and the chance to work closely with senior leadership. 5 days in‑office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage monthly closings and prepare consolidated financial reports for multiple entities.
• Lead year‑end audits and collaborate with external accountants.
• Oversee fixed asset accounting and assist with corporate and partnership tax compliance.
• Prepare budgets, projections, and quarterly income estimates for shareholder distributions.
• Ensure timely filing of sales and property tax returns.
• Support leadership with board presentations and special projects.
• Implement and improve internal financial controls.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 7+ years of experience.
• CPA preferred (not required).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
• Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with Yardi and Sage FAS is a bonus.
• Hands‑on, proactive team player with a strong work ethic.
