Join EY as a Seasonal Real Estate Tax Senior Manager. You will apply your knowledge across a wide range of tax areas and processes, devising strategic outcomes to complex issues. Responsibilities- Lead tax planning projects for a diverse client base with up-to-the-minute tax advice.
- Manage teams in a collaborative environment, emphasizing listening and information sharing.
- Analyze an evolving portfolio of complex tax operations to provide meaningful business insights.
- Identify opportunities and risks and communicate these to clients.
- Develop clear plans to improve clients’ tax activities and tailor advice to their operations.
- Supervise a motivated team to ensure members have the skills and opportunities to grow.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline.
- Seven to ten years of real estate tax experience in a professional services environment.
- Extensive knowledge of real estate tax technical and transactional areas (e.g., partnership taxation, REITs taxation and qualification, allocations, compliance, due diligence, structuring).
- Experience managing budgets, people, and projects; ability to lead business development within the market.
- Technical writing and research experience in a tax context; ability to prioritize multiple complex projects.
- Strong influencing skills with the confidence to question existing processes.
- Willingness to travel as needed; comfortable with a balanced hybrid environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or state bar membership.

The salary range for this role in the US is $120/hr to $150/hr, with individual salaries determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
