Preschool Teacher – Full Time

The Goddard School of Stamford, a new preschool opened May 2023, is seeking fun, experienced and qualified teachers to provide an engaging learning environment for our preschool-aged children. We are specifically looking for teachers who are dependable, highly motivated and meet Connecticut's Early Childhood Teacher requirements.

• Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, nurturing and multi-cultural learning environment
• Design and implement age appropriate play based lesson plans using the Creative Curriculum
• Plan and implement activities to foster children’s self esteem and social skills
• Prepare a daily activity report for each child
• Attend faculty meetings, in-service days, conferences and professional growth opportunities
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• A High School Diploma is required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree or higher in ECE, Elementary Education or Child Development required
• A minimum of 2-3 years of prior experience in a licensed childcare, daycare or preschool is required

• The Goddard School of Stamford is open year-round
• Monday-Friday 7am to 6pm (9 hour shift with 1 hour break)

• Job Type: Full-time
• Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
