Come join our team! The Goddard School of Stamford is a preschool that opened in early 2023. We are seeking fun, experienced and qualified teachers to assist in our infant classrooms. We are specifically looking for teachers who are dependable, highly motivated and meet Connecticut's Early Childhood Teacher requirements.

• Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, nurturing and multi-cultural learning environment
• Design and implement age appropriate play based lesson plans using the Creative Curriculum
• Plan and implement activities to foster children’s self esteem and social skills
• Prepare a daily activity report for each child
• Attend faculty meetings, in-service days, conferences and professional growth opportunities
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• A High School Diploma is required
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree or higher in ECE, Elementary Education or Child Development preferred
• A minimum of 2-3 years of prior experience in a licensed childcare, daycare or preschool is required

• The Goddard School of Stamford is open year-round
• Monday-Friday 7am to 6pm (9 hour shift with 1 hour break)
• Job Type: Full-time
• Schedule:
  
  8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

Experience:

Infant Teaching: 2 years (Required)
