Toddler Teacher

Job Summary

Join our team! The Goddard School of Stamford is a preschool that opened in May 2023. We are seeking fun, experienced, and qualified Toddler teachers who are dependable, highly motivated, and meet Connecticut’s Early Childhood Teacher requirements.

• Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, nurturing, and multicultural learning environment
• Design and implement age‑appropriate play‑based lesson plans using the Creative Curriculum
• Effectively use positive discipline to manage the classroom
• Plan and implement activities to foster children’s self‑esteem and social skills
• Prepare a daily activity report for each child
• Attend faculty meetings, in‑service days, conferences and professional growth opportunities
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills

• A High School Diploma is required
• Associate’s Degree, Bachelor’s Degree or higher in ECE, Elementary Education or Child Development preferred
• A minimum of 1 year of prior experience in a licensed childcare, daycare or preschool is required

• Monday‑Friday 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM (9‑hour shift with 1‑hour break)

$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
